Spiritual Retreat ~ August 5 - 7, 2011
Come join us for a weekend of sharing the word of God with other horsewomen. Based on the series "Seasons" from the Calvary Chapel Women's Conference, the weekend will be spent learning and sharing about the seasons in our lives. A season is a period of time - with a beginning and an end - and with each season comes change, but one thing never changes ~ God. This is a spiritual, emotional and heartwarming weekend that you don't want to miss. Bring your horses ~ we will ride in the early morning and late evenings when it is cool, beautiful and quiet with God.
Limited accommodations are available in the house for this event only. You also have the option of sleeping in your personal rig. Guests arrive and settle in Friday evening. Price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday; breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Price: $250
Mendocino Mountain Ride ~ October 29 & 30, 2011
The cattle ranches on which we ride and live in Glenn County boast a spectacular view of the mountains of the Mendocino National Forest. Join us for some riding in the forest that towers above the North Valley. The change in landscape from the farms of the valley, to the grasslands, to the rolling oak laden hills, to the snow capped mountains has always amazed us. Ride with us in the mountains and enjoy the sound of the breeze through the pines.
Accommodations include the option to sleep in your personal rig or one of our tents (space limited). Guests arrive Saturday morning. Price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday; breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Price: $300
Fall in the Foothills ~ November 19 & 20, 2011
Fall in the foothills of Glenn County is a glorious time. Come join us to welcome the cattle home from their summer pastures and to experience the golden, rolling hills of California. The crunch of the leaves under our horses hooves and the hues of autumn color combine for a wonderful experience.
This is the perfect time to practice your trail riding skills with help from the Buckarettes, or learn to ride around calm cattle, moving them through pastures. We will not only focus on cattle skills but work on trail skills as well. What better place to learn and practice than on the actual trail?

Elk Creek Buckarette Ranch Ride ~ April 26 - 29, 2012
Still fancy, more ranchy ~ an intimate version of our traditional Ranch Ride, the 2012 event will feature riding on local, private cattle ranches, delicious food, cattle work in the arena and on the ranch, our legendary roping clinic, a competition and the camaraderie we are famous for. Stay in one of our tents or in your rig, gather in the barn and ride the range with us!
